La falta de una miniatura propia nos obligó a crearla a partir de las pocas referencias que tenemos acerca de este personaje histórico. Esperemos que sea bien reconocible para todo aficionado al hobby!

Magnus has come. The general of the Forces of Orden who fought victoriously agains the greatest invasion of Chaos never seean for ceturies: Magnus von Bildhofen, also known as The Pious.
The lack of a proper model to represent Magnus drive us to create it from the few references we have about him. We hope it will be well recognizable to all hobby enthusiastics!
Ya comentamos holgadamente el proceso de creación de esta miniatura en un artículo anterior, así que esta vez tan sólo hablaré de su pintado. En este sentido, la combinación de colores no ha sido nada fácil de escoger y tuve que realizar varias pruebas y repintados antes de establecerlos tal y como los veis aquí.
We discussed about the creating process of this model in a previous post, so this time I will only talk about its painting. In this sense, the combination of colors was not easy to choose and I had to made several tests and repaintings before setting them as you can see below.
Las ilustraciones de que disponemos dan una importancia notable al rojo, tal y como corresponde a un sacerdote de Sigmar. Por otro lado, la armadura plateada constituye el cuerpo central de la miniatura y los adornos y remaches dorados le dan un aspecto más regio. Hasta aquí ninguna sorpresa respecto a las ilustraciones. En cuanto a la capa, me decidí por el azul; le da un contraste profundo a la miniatura y rompe la monotonía de color.
The pictures we have give a remarkable importance to red, as it corresponds to a priest of Sigmar. On the other hand, the silver armor constitutes the central body of the model and the golden details give it a more royal appearance. None surprise at this point regarding the illustrations. For the cloak, I decided to painted it in blue; it gives a deep contrast on the model and breaks the colour monotony.
En cambio para la montura escogí el negro y el dorado por dos razones: en primer lugar Magnus procedía de Nuln, cuyo color emblemático es el negro. Y en segundo lugar, sabemos que después de esta guerra (o durante el transcurso de la misma), Magnus creó la Orden del Grifo. Según las crónicas la información extraída de varios libros acerca del Imperio, esta orden de caballería viste los colores negro y dorado. Así pues, tenía todo el sentido que su creador utilizara la misma combinación. De hecho, tengo pendientes 37 o 38 caballeros de esta orden, los cuales formaran su guardia personal... y un enemigo temible en el campo de batalla.
For the mount, I chose black and gold for two reasons: first, Magnus came from Nuln, whose uniform color is black. And secondly, we know that after this war (or during the course of it), Magnus created the Order of the Griffon. According to the information extracted from several books about The Empire, this knightly order combine these two colours, black and gold. So it made perfect sense that his creator used the same combination. In fact, I have 37 or 38 knights of this order in the painting list, who will form their personal bodyguard ... and a fearsome enemy on the battlefield.
Por cierto, esta mini no saldrá de la vitrina hasta la partida. No quiero que le pase nada de nada!
By the way, this model will not leave the showcase until the game. I don't want any accident with it!
